Fitness/sports topic
We had something like this back on the old forum, and I thought we might as well have a topic for it here.
What kind of sports do you guys do and enjoy? Or if you don't play sports, if you do any kind of exercise or fitness routine, what do you typically do to stay in shape?
Personally, I've been slacking on my exercise, haven't gone running in a while now, which is my usual method of working out. Don't really play any sports, but I would love to learn how to play tennis; it's something I've been interested in for years, I've just never gotten an opportunity to learn .
What about you guys?

Soccer is my main sport. Straight up running, and exercise bores me unfortunately. And either way, work makes me come home so exhausted, that exercise is the last thing I want to think about.
Sadly though, this spring I pulled my groin playing soccer, and am still feeling the affects of it... :/

I've been slacking on my fitness as well, but I want to get in better shape, so that's one of my goals. I used to have marching band to keep me on my feet, but now I'm trying to train myself to be able to handle joining a drum corps, as I would like to do that at some point.
In a video made by the corps that I want to join, they mention that their physical training works by doing cardio one day, upper body strength/core the second, and relaxing/stretching the third, so I figured I might as well follow that regimen.
I play tennis, but it's been a while. Hopefully I'll be able to go play with some friends soon. I should also go swimming, but haven't gotten around to it, I guess. I used to play baseball and basketball in a recreation league, but those days are long behind me.

I've been slacking off with sports and exercising... pretty much my entire life.
I'm planning to start running to change that. Hopefully soon, this time... My mom is a bit afraid to let me run alone because someone might get up to me and give me an atomic wedgie.
I always wanted to do sports. Not sure what exactly, but definitely tennis, golf, basketball, maybe even baseball, too.

I did tennis until this year, but I'm dropping it since the season conflicts with the last theatre production of the year...It's a fun sport to play, and fairly easy to pick up, if you want to try it.

I...I...play video games if that counts? I mean you could in a very broad sense say that racing simulators with force feedback wheels do require physical strength since not all the cars in games have power steering. I've used racing wheels for about 5 years now for games and I know someone who only got a wheel in May and he was wrecked after 15 minutes.

Most people wouldn't really consider working with horses a sport (unless you do barrel racing, jumping, etc) or work out really. But I count that as a work out xD. Cause there are plenty of things to do with horses that is very tiring. Despite most people's belief. xD So yeah! Thats mine! And when I get to, swim, I love swimming at the lake. Tis always fun.
