Windows 10 Opinions
So with windows 10 coming at the end of the year as essentially a free update for windows 7 and 8.1 what are people's thoughts on the OS?
I'm downloading the technical preview tonight so I should have it running soon to give my thoughts. Below are just main things about it that I've seen so far from demos.
The major changes for those that don't know is windows 10 is basically a windows 7/8 hybrid. The start menu is back and can be put to fullscreen to basically be the metro tiles, cortana has been introduced and she seems to be far better than Siri.
Cortana will learn stuff about you the more you get her to do things, you can edit, delete and add to these things too. So if you don't want cortana to know something about you then you can make sure she never knows. Sadly she uses bing so I don't know if she will be that smart but from the demos they showed its definitely going to be a nice feature, multitasking made easier.
Control panel is gone and a settings program takes its place. Windows 10 is also 1 OS for all devices, no more windows RT. If you have a laptop tablet hybrid you will be able to switch to a more touch friendly mode when you switch to a tablet.

Re: Windows 10 Opinions
Sounds like it could be interesting, although there are already a couple things I would modify...
