Re: What are you currently playing?
I'm playing SWTOR religiously, as always. Gyr, if you like KOTOR, you might want to try it sometime.

Witcher 3, didn't play the first two but read up on the lore and the general goings on in the world. It's definitely going to pick up GOTY from several groups, it's kind of a game you have to experience yourself being it an RPG with tons of choice decisions (some of them are quick decisions where you only get a few seconds to decide). I'm not a big fan of RPGs and I never really got into Skyrim but I definitely recommend this game. Everything you do even the side quests have really well thought out backstory and it gives you the sense that everything you do has a purpose.

Haha, I already have! I haven't gone particularly far cause I have so many characters and I haven't played in a while. The farthest I got is I think around level 30 Imperial Agent.
Re: What are you currently playing?
If you ever have a mind to come back, if you sub during this summer you get 12x story XP so you can just play through all of the stories...the best part of the game IMO.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Been playing some FF4 on Steam. It's ok. Not the best port though, that's for sure. Also been playing a lot of Civilization V and Killing Floor again lately.

Ebon Hawk? NOOOOOOooooooo.........
I'm on Jedi Covenant.
EDIT: Whoops. Looks like that was February. Heh. Well. Whatever. Post still stands.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum yesterday, and holy crap it's great. Already sunk about 5 hours into the game, it's a lot of fun.
Re: What are you currently playing?
I started Papers, Please today as it was on sale and had an extremely short download time. Not the most fun game, obviously, but surprisingly immersive and engaging, as anyone who is aware of the title should expect. Definitely on my list of "Gyr's Quintessential Vidya Games."

Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone. For some reason I just got into the role of the inspector guy. The gameplay is undeniably monotonous, but there are little nuances that get thrown your way. How far did you get into it?
Re: What are you currently playing?
I've only seen a handful of gameplay of Papers, Please, and I'm not sure if it is for me as well. Not a fan of paperwork.
But I did like the storyline behind it, as well as the many serious decisions you have to make throughout it.
Gotta love that Jorji Costava guy.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I only played for like, 20 minutes. so it's possible I didn't get far enough in to get hooked, but it just didn't seem like a game I'd enjoy all that much so I didn't sink a lot of time into it.
Re: What are you currently playing?
Just after doing a 2 hour version of the Le Mans 24 Hour race in Project Cars, it was really intense.
Re: What are you currently playing?
Another game I got in the Steam Summer Sale was Valkyria Chronicles. It took me a while to get to it due to difficulty managing download times, but now that I got a chance to play it, I'm completely enamored with it. With my background in turn-based combat in the LMB Roleplays, I really like the gameplay. It's hitting all the right buttons for me.
Re: What are you currently playing?
I've been playing Batman Arkham Asylum and Cities Skylines lately, both are awesome games, if you've never played them, you should.
@Gyr, I started up Valkyria Chronicles, and it seems interesting, but I've only played it for maybe an hour. Does it continue to maintain quality?

Re: What are you currently playing?
@Jk To tell you the truth, I've only played for two hours in total and haven't felt like picking it, or many other computer games, for that matter, up in a while. I basically got to the point where you create your first unit, a ~20+ man squad and upgrade their equipment and your tank. Except then I had to close the game for some reason and didn't get a chance to save. The lack of a quicksaving feature is kinda hurting my willingness to return to the game, at least when I forget to save.
So no, I haven't really had the chance to go deeper into the game.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Ah, alright. I'll try to play more at some point, but there's so many other games I want to play, it's honestly not all that high on my list. I still need to beat Arkham Asylum here at some point kinda soon.
Re: What are you currently playing?
Just played a bit more of it, completed a mission or two. I'm liking it a lot, even though I'm not particularly good at it. I guess I still can't give word on it maintaining quality though...
Re: What are you currently playing?
Dude, I love that game.
Just started up Dragon Age: Origins the other day, and holy crap, it's great. Been having a lot of fun with it so far.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Yeah... Dragon Age: Origins is awesome... I ended up needing to take a break at one point, because, well... The dungeon crawling at one point was getting a bit old, but that was partly because I'd built my character badly. (Don't make a mage who focuses almost entirely on enormous nukes with friendly fire.) But its a totally awesome game.
I haven't beaten the expansion yet, but that's partly because, well... I just don't like my current party members that much.

Yeah, I have to take breaks every now and then, but it's a lot of fun. I feel like I'm not utilizing my character completely though, I made a rogue, but I feel like there has to be more I can do with him, right now he's not all that useful.
I like Alistair and Morrigan, they're both pretty cool characters. Sten kinda sucks though, at least so far, but I keep him in the party because he's good at combat. I just picked up another character too, but I probably wont use him as much because he's an elf rogue, literally the exact same thing as my character. >_>

I think problem partly with Papers Please is how frustrating the guy with the duck passport is... "OH I HAVE PRE-APPROVED PASSPORT!" and then he rants for about 5 minutes of your day which is at least 2-4 people checked, that's the difference between feeding the family or making them freeze.
Played a lot of Sims 4 over the weekend, by playing I mean just building a house and not actually playing the game a normal person would. I always feel like I'm in Grand Designs when I make houses in games like the Sims. Also got F1 2015 today, only problem is I installed it through a disc thinking I'd only need maybe 1GB of updates. Turns out the disc is 7.9/9.3GB so I am here waiting another 5-6 hours to play it.

Definitely. Alistair is likely my favorite character. Sten is pretty much just the straight up, emotionless tough fighter type. His personality stays rather bland the entire time. I didn't really use him much, because I liked having Morrigan (or the other wizard, who you can get eventually) for more maging (I was a mage myself, but along a different route), Alistair for the tanking, and then I needed a rogue, so I took Leiliana since I like her much more than Zevran.
Zevran has some funny stories, but in general... Not really my favorite character. I'll use him at some point, but it'll be a while.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I feel like I'd really like Zevran, but he's pretty much the exact same thing as my character, and there's not much need for 2 rogues.
Maybe next playthrough. I plan on probably playing a mage next time. I find myself using Morrigan a lot, it's a lot of fun casting spells in this game.
